juvenile Red-footed Falcon Gib Point

amazing how different this bird looked to the fresher juv at Spurn a month ago -- employing all sorts of hunting techniques from dashing after dragons to very high soaring, up to 1000 feet at one time picking off insects right up there, then perching on wires and posts cold searching before sallying after dragons and skimming the tops of trees picking off insects and more dragons; Migrant Hawkers seemed to be the ode of choice but some of the bigger ones seemed to keep it occupied for a while -- as usual you think you should have done better but when the sun was out it was mega high then when it was low it was white sky syndrome and it could have used a low perch with a nice background but hey ho its a lot better than I expected --
