large falcon ID

still not 100% sure what this bird is; better views this morning confirmed a few points; the legs and feet are a blue-grey with no rings or anything else attached; no apparent feather wear; cere grey; so options seem to be a juvenile Saker, some sort of hybrid falconer's bird but why no rings or jesses? other options and comments appreciated -- even though views were good through the scope ligjht was not great and it was 400m away at the closest so images still not more than tiny specs

This would pass off as a Saker for me, had I seen it in Hungary, a large female juvenile, but the head marhings are a little non-existant. Great find though.
BTW your male Hen Harrier shots are the best I have ever seen of this species.Stunning!

Is this the same bird reported by John Brattan at Paull on 24th November 2013?

I think the white spots on the lower scapulars are too similar for it not to be the same bird as the Patrington sighting; another photo has just emerged of it passing Far Ings on Feb 16th by Mandy West
