Long-billed pain in the proverbial

this Long-billed Dowitcher must be the most mobile, elusive and skittish bird of its species to ever occur in Britain! It is more wary than Redshank and Lapwings and is almost invariably the first bird to flush at the first sign of danger; it never seems to feed in any one spot for more than 15 minutes before moving 1km or so to another inaccessible area -- cannot ever see it getting any better so here some more 1 pixel shots - it associates with Snipe, Redshanks, Ruff, Lapwings and Golden Plovers so its not choosy
